I have spent the last 3 years managing, creating and promoting brands in the food, service, education and entertainment industry. I started out as a copywriter, then a social media content creator with my work being featured in New Zealand! I don’t see digital media as just a marketing tool but a crucial component of the business to consumer sphere. Digital media, primarily social media challenges traditional media but knocks its socks off every time with its ability to be instant and to satisfy the most basic of human needs, interaction. I’m currently employed as a Marketing Officer for a tertiary institution. This opportunity allows me to challenge myself and my ability to create digital content to meet the needs of the institution and create an approachable brand voice and a strong social presence.
