I have over 15 years of experience and formal training in Agricultural Production and Agro-processing working as a Factory and Quality Assurance Manager in Agro-processing Facilities.  I have expertise in the areas of Agro-processing, Laboratory testing, Quality Management, Food Safety, Agricultural Production and Operations Management, which includes training and monitoring farmers/suppliers, development of agricultural produce specification and inspection.

I am also trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, HACCP, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System and ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.

I am a part-time lecturer Agricultural Production and Food System Management Programme for the College of Agriculture, Science and Education. I lectured in the areas of Food Quality Assurance and Agro-Food Processing Technology. I also work as an Independent Lead Auditor/Auditor with the National Certification Body of Jamaica/Bureau of Standards Jamaica-National Quality Awards, HACCP Recognition Programme and Certification of Agricultural Produce, auditing farms and agro-processing facilities in Jamaica. I also have Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and FSC 22000.
