For 20 years I was successfully employed at The Gleaner Company. During that time I acquired a strong set of skills involved in the production, writing, editing and proofreading of materials.
But I have also mastered the art of organising and executing successful events such as The Star Awards, Back to School fairs, public and private seminars, free shows, parties and competition for members of the public. These initiatives have allowed me to meet and foster partnership with many ordinary and high-profile people and corporate entities, which have given sponsorship in cash and kind to these events.
At all times I am driven to excel and have received formal and informal recognition for the quality of my work. I am confident that the diversity of my background and my proven skills will transfer effectively to any interested company.
I have a Diploma in Media and Communications and certificates in both Supervisory Management and Marketing, all from the University of the West Indies.
